Latest: Lira’s Speech Is Getting Better, And This Is A Good Sign

Lira talks about how her speech is getting better after a stroke left her with Aphasia and Dysphasia.

“It’s going to take some time- but it’s reversible! This process has been fascinating for me and although it’s quite challenging at times, I am happy,” she revealed in September.

Returning in November, Lira has successfully made her first trip out of her home to Eastern Cape and she’s progressing well with her speech recovery.

“Speech recovery is slow, yet I’m making huge progress. Life carries on, and I’m going to just enjoy my life. All I need is to be patient with the process and I’m going do so living my best life,” she wrote.
