SA Fashion Week Starts On A Stylish Note – Glitz And Glam

As SA Fashion Week is well under way, people who like fashion can look forward to high-end clothes and mind-blowing experiences. The annual event is one of the most important fashion events in Mzansi, and it started on a stylish note on Wednesday night.

We love going to events, but getting a front-row seat at a runway show is truly amazing, and we’re grateful to our friends at SA Fashion Week for inviting us.

SA stars showed up in large numbers to dazzle at the Cruz Vintage Black Vodka launch party in Sandton on Wednesday night. As usual, they inspired, stole the show, and made a lot of people’s cameras go crazy.

Cruz Vodka, the official alcohol partner and supplier of Cruz x AKA’s banana and watermelon flavors, put on the party. Celebrities had a fashionable night out on the red carpet, showing off their locally designed high fashion pieces.

A-listers like Basetsana Kumalo, Sandile Mahlangu, Yaya Mavundla, Paledi Segapo, Kim Jayde, and Chris Jaftha were there last night to see designers show off their Autumn/Winter 23 collections.

On the first day, Michael Ludwig Studio showed off its Self-Sapien collection. The collection is based on the idea that bright colors and abstract printing techniques can replace binary stereotypes and gender roles with self-expression and unique expression.

Artclub and some of his friends showed off his conceptual pieces, which “tell stories of a future we dream of making and of the cities we can expect to live in.” Fikile Zamagcino Sokhulu’s collection was so beautiful that it left everyone in awe. Cherry and Rubicon also showed their new collections for fall/winter 2023, and they ended the show with a bang.
