Update: Bonang Matheba Criticized For Lingerie Post, Ignoring AKA’s Death

Bonang Matheba may have privately expressed her condolences to the family of her ex-boyfriend AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes. However, followers of the former couple believe that the media mogul’s public silence speaks volumes.

To make matters worse, many fans are criticizing the actress for posting sexy photos of herself in lingerie while the “Megacy” is in mourning.

Last Friday night, AKA and his friend Tebello Tibz Motsoane were shot and killed outside a Florida Road hotspot in Durban. Police are looking into two counts of murder.

Just four days after AKA’s death, Bonang broke her Instagram silence by posting a picture celebrating Valentine’s Day.

The popular personality shared two snaps showing off her ample assets in lingerie.

“The month of love,” she captioned the images. On Twitter, Bonang also wished her followers a happy Valentine’s Day.

Bonang’s post comes days after tweeps noticed that she blue-ticked the news of AKA’s death but liked a post by SA comedian Loyiso Gola paying tribute to Tibz instead.

Tafara_nyambara: “Respect the dead, please; we are mourning.”

Melieshadejongh: “You seem heartless by not saying anything about Kiernan’s death”

Others defended Bonang, claiming that she was not obligated to say anything about AKA’s passing.

Sisanda1549: “Maybe she did privately. Sometimes not broadcasting everything on social media is a good idea; I’m sure her team would have advised her not to say anything because of all the attention that would bring”.
