A couple that works together, they say, wins together. This is true for soccer legend Pitso Mosimane and his wife of over 20 years, Moira Tlhagale Mosimane.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly coach is one of South Africa’s greatest football exports, and he is currently making history and furthering his management career in Saudi Arabia as the head coach of Al-Ahli Jeddah Football Club.
But who is the woman who is responsible for Pitso’s happiness and some of his success?
1. SHE IS 50 YEARS OLD
Moira Tlhagale Mosimane was born on 3 September 1972. She was born and bred in Krugersdorp, Gauteng.
2. MOIRA TLHAGALE MOSIMANE IS HER HUSBAND’S MANAGER
According to her LinkedIn profile, her professional journey started in 2003.
In 2012, she founded her company called MT Sports Marketing and Management. The agency represents several elite sports personalities in the country, including her husband coach Pitso Mosimane.
3. SHE HAS THREE CHILDREN
The soccer-loving couple has three children together as they have daughter Lelentle and two sons- Kopano (21) and Realegile Mosimane (11).
Lelentle graduated in 2022 from the University of Witwatersrand with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Media Studies. She reportedly works as a digital media specialist at MT Sports Marketing and Management and also the founder of Learn Know Master Tutors.
Their son, Kopano is a podcaster and YouTuber.
4. SHE IS AN ACADEMIC
Mrs Mosimane is a quantity surveyor by profession holds a National Diploma in Building and Surveying from Peninsula Technikon.
A few years later, she furthered her studies at the University of Cape Town where she graduated with a B.Sc. Honours degree in Quantity Surveying.
5. MRS MOSIMANE OWNS ANOTHER COMPANY
Before her sports marketing and management company, Moira Tlhagale Mosimane established a company called Tmtj Consulting Gauteng which has been responsible for construction project management, tenant installation, programme management and project facilitation.
