North West MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Gordon Kegakilwe has kicked the bucket of Covid-19 related ailment.
In an announcement on Monday, North West chief Prof Tebogo Job Mokgoro unveiled Kegakilwe spent away on Monday after a “short and genuine ailment”.
Kegakilwe was conceded with Covid-19 related pneumonia on Sunday evening at the Vryburg Private Hospital and was quickly put on oxygen; A choice was taken toward the beginning of today to move him to a clinical office in Klerksdorp.
“He was moved from Vryburg to Klerksdorp in a rescue vehicle. Upon appearance in Klerksdorp, he endured a heart failure. Regardless of the considerable number of endeavors by the clinical work force, he capitulated and lost his life,” Mokgoro said.
Paying tribute, MEC Mokgoro said Kegakilwe “had separated himself as one of the best to have originated from the positions of the overseeing African National Congress and an attempted and tried pioneer”.
