South African Singer, Lady Du on her social media platforms made this knwon to his fans and whole public that She Is Ready To Go International!
Lady Du is educated and runs a number of businesses in addition to making music. She may have it all figured out, but she does admit that music is the driving force behind her success.
Lady Du has established herself as one of the country’s most business-savvy musicians. The Amapiano vocalist recognizes the importance of not only making music to survive, but also having something on the side if one wishes to live comfortably.
Lady Du took to Instagram to brag about her new beauty salon, and she revealed that music is to thank for her success! She outlined the sacrifices she had to make in order for the parlour to become a reality.
“For 3 months straight I cut down on performing and focused on a project I’ve wanted my whole life, I bought a house and redesigned it into what I wanted! The spa/salon I’ve always wanted, as a qualified beautician myself I’ve always wanted a salon since I have the qualifications. Today after 3 months of ups and downs I can officially say I’m back to my old self, I’ll be focusing on my music and performing,” she said.
Lady Du then said she is back at doing music as she took a break. She will return with a tour over seas.
“Currently working on my international tour. To all of you that think it can’t be done here is a testimony!!! Your talent can fund any of your dreams!!!
I’m educated but music made me successful. My education is what’s helping me walk with wisdom and not pressure. May God bless you guys too. May grace fall upon you. Follow your dreams!!! Invest in yourselves.”
Lady Du is now keeping to herself after K.O dissed her on his new track for saying SETE was not as big as people say it is. “Sneak dissing is some sh*t I don’t want to see a Lady Du. Grow up and leave the gossip. You posted in your stories trying to claim SETE wasn’t gold but then a day a two it reached platinum. How did that make you look?”
Not directly responding to K.O’s diss, Lady Du told her supporters to never submit to distractions.
I’ve been working on my first album, a 20 track album, im an independent artist. I fund everything myself, for a person that’s never paid a cent for promoting my music, I’ve achieved beyond my dreams.
